The Omoda 7 SHS-P is a plug-in hybrid with an 18.4kWh battery and up to 56 miles of electric range. It uses a Type 2 connector for AC charging and can be fully charged from a 7.4kW home wallbox in around three hours.

What charging cable does the Omoda 7 need?


The Omoda 7 SHS-P uses a Type 2 connector for AC charging. For home wallbox or public AC charging, you will need a Mode 3 Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable. For charging from a standard household 3-pin socket, you will need a Mode 2 portable charger.
What is the charging speed of the Omoda 7?

The Omoda 7 SHS-P supports AC charging at up to 7.4kW using a Type 2 connector. On a 7.4kW home wallbox, the 18.4kWh battery will charge from empty to full in approximately three hours. It also supports DC rapid charging at up to 40kW for faster top-ups at public rapid chargers.
How far can the Omoda 7 travel on electric power?

The Omoda 7 SHS-P has a claimed electric range of up to 56 miles, which is enough for many daily commutes without using petrol. Once the battery is depleted, the 1.5-litre petrol engine takes over, giving a combined range of well over 400 miles.
Does the Omoda 7 come with a charging cable?

The Omoda 7 SHS-P typically comes with a Mode 2 portable 3-pin charging cable as standard. A Mode 3 Type 2 charging cable for home wallbox or public AC charging is not always included and is usually purchased separately.
What does SHS-P mean in Omoda 7 SHS-P?
