This Type 1 Charging cable is great for storage when not in use

This cable is suitable for use at home, work or out and about at public charging stations with both Electric Vehicles (EV) and Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).

The coiled cable has the advantage of ease of storage over straight cables, recoiling neatly when not in use. The cables are available in 3, 5 or 7.5 metre usable cable lengths*

This cable will charge vehicles with a Type 1 Connector.

This cable is rated at either:

16 amps - maximum charge rate of 3.6kW .( up to approximately 1 mile of range for every 3 to 4 Minutes of charging or 1 Km of range for every 2 to 3 minutes of charging)**


32 amps - maximum charge rate of 7.2kW.( up to approximately 1 mile of range for every 2 to 3 minutes of charging or 1 Km of range for every 1 to 2 minutes of charging) **

The cable and connectors are both high quality and are provided with a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.

You have a choice between black or green and cable lengths of 3(5), 5(8), or 7.5(11.8) metres usable lengths.( Pre-coiled lengths in brackets)

The cable recoils to the following lengths for storage when not in use

1.5M - 0.4 to 0.55 m

3M - 0.5 to 0.75M

5M - 1.0 to 1.2M

7.5 M - 1.3M to 1.5M

*Usable length-Although our cables are generously sized, usable length of coiled cables is part determined by the physical resistance from the power source socket it pulls against . In the unlikely event physical resistance is insufficient to stretch the cable, a lower useable length will be seen. If this causes issues we would be pleased to exchange the cable for the next size up
