Description
This waterproof (IP65 rated) 10 amp Mode 2 portable EV charger is suitable for use with all electric vehicles with a Type 2 connection, has a 2 pin plug and uses a EUROPEAN socket outlet and is perfect for your travels to Europe.
The charger automatically switches off when the vehicles battery is full and can be left outside all year round ( IP 65 waterproof).
The charger must be plugged in either indoors or into a waterproof/weather-rated European 2 pin outdoor socket .
The 10 amp charging rate translates in more real world language to approximately 1 mile of range for every 6-9 minutes of charging (around 7 to 10 miles of range added per hour of charge)* which adds 85 to 100 miles of range to any electric vehicle or plug in hybrid vehicle when placed on a 12 hour overnight charge.
Charging status is shown via an easy to understand colour light sequence.
It is rated at 10 Amp to protect domestic circuits against overload and fire risk and delivers 2.3kW of charge.
Suitable or use with all electric vehicles with a Type 2 connector (Type 2 is standard for most makes and models of EV's and PHEV's see list below).
